The Director - Jo Street
Jo Street trained at the North West School of Speech
and Drama. Her extensive experience includes both acting
and presenting for Radio, Television and Theatre, beginning
her career with Caryl Jenner at the Arts Theatre, London
and subsequently moving into repertory and theatre workshop.
She is a drama coach for student and professional
actors. Her work with and for young people has gained
wide acclaim, and in 1986 her radio series, "Small
Talk" for Independent Radio received a Sony Award
nomination.
She founded The Bournemouth Youth Theatre Workshop,
creating a number of original stage works, and has written
and directed productions for the Western Association
of Ballet Schools and a Royal Gala performance for the
Dorset Youth Service, all at the Pavilion Theatre, Bournemouth.
